How and why we use cookies, and how to control them.
This Cookie Policy explains how JustSEO.ai uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to recognize you when you visit our website.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to website owners.
Cookies allow websites to remember your actions and preferences (such as login credentials, language selection, font size, and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you return to the site or browse from one page to another.
Cookie Categories
We group the cookies and similar storage we use into the following categories:
- Essential: Strictly necessary for the site to work (sign-in, session, security, and remembering your cookie choices). These cannot be switched off.
- Functional: Remember non-essential preferences, such as your light/dark theme.
- Analytics: Help us understand how the product is used. These load only when permitted under the consent rules for your region (see "Regional Consent Practices" below).
- Marketing: Used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not currently set any marketing cookies; this category is reserved and only applies to advertising tags that may be loaded through Google Tag Manager when permitted under the consent rules for your region.
Regional Consent Practices
How we ask for your permission depends on where you are browsing from:
- EU, EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: analytics and marketing storage stays off until you opt in through the cookie banner. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and you can change your choice at any time in Cookie Settings.
- United States (including California and other states with opt-out rights) and everywhere else: we do not show a blocking banner; analytics runs by default. You can opt out at any time via the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer or in Cookie Settings, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically as a binding opt-out of sale/sharing.
- Everyone, everywhere: an explicit choice you have made always wins over any regional default, and your choice (or an applied regional default) is recorded in our consent audit trail. If we cannot determine your location, we treat you as if you were in the EU and ask first.
Location is determined at country level only from the request; we do not store your IP address for this purpose.

Error Tracking and Session Replay (Sentry)
We use Sentry for error monitoring. To keep the service reliable, basic Sentry error tracking initializes before you make a cookie choice, on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in detecting and fixing faults. This pre-consent error tracking does not record session replays and does not send your email address or other directly identifying personal data to Sentry (errors are associated only with an opaque identifier).
Sentry session replay, which can capture an anonymized recording of on-screen activity to help us reproduce bugs, is consent-gated: it is enabled only after you grant analytics consent, and replays mask text and block media by default.
